Exercise used to stress me out - now it gives me more energy

"When my mother passed away, I was really, really hit by grief and despair.
My husband is a pilot, so I was alone with two small children, and my mother had been my only and most important support in everyday life.
Everything hurt me, my whole body ached.

I used to go to the fitness center to work out every now and then, but the training didn't do me any good. It stressed me out, it was junk training with an instructor who shouted in our faces. I felt like crying and sleeping afterwards, just to recover.

I had been following Anna since 2009, but her first book Skyhøj forbrænding completely captured me when I read it. Is this all I need to do? Should I just do the things written in this book? It made so much sense to me to read about training this way. I started and have continued to do a lot of work on my own to read about the principles.

I have read everything Anna has written over the years. She is my "go-to" when there is something I want to learn more about. And back then with Skyhøj Forbrænding I realized that I needed to change my training.

I had done nothing but swing between the gym and the physiotherapist. I realized that I needed to repair, not stress the body. And I almost felt like partying when I quit the gym.
I was set free.

I can thank Anna for that, whom I have followed for over 10 years now.
And I can thank her for giving me strength in my body. It's not something we women prioritize. But it's crucial.

I have my kettlebells standing in the living room and use Anna's micro-training.
I never thought 10 years ago that I would be able to stand at home, high on happiness and with music in my ears, swinging those kettlebells.

I will continue for life because I know that it will be awesome to grow older this way. And that it's the strength in my body that will get me through crises and old age unscathed. And as something even wilder, it was actually Anna who inspired me to work with health myself.

MEET ANNA BOGDANOVA, BEHAVIOURAL DESIGN & TRAINING SPECIALIST

The last 15+ years I have been teaching tens of thousands of Danish women how to etablish and maintain a regular training routine with 5-minute micro-training sessions involving both the brain and muscles, so they can access much more strength, freedom, and energy in their everyday lives.

In my opinion, this highly effective training is the most important investment in your future.

At the moment, I am preparing my first international program, so make sure to stay tuned.
